Hardcore

Showcasing at the 61 Kingsley Street gallery, Sadie Coles HQ has opened Hardcore, a group exhibition with the power dynamics of sex, the diverse nature of intimacy and our reaction to this all at its center. The works in this show test the limit of the human experience, challenges social convention and creates a space for psychological exploration.

Hardcore includes the work of 18 artists, who in their own way and using their utilising their artistic voice, provoke reaction, thoughts and important discussion around essential human questions. Working to reject shame, the topics highlighted in the exhibition cannot escape provocation and encourage embracing the unpredicatiblity of our instinctive nature.

Coexisting with Hardcore, Sadie Coles HQ presents a collaboration with Climax Books with a specially curated selection of artist books and cultural ephemera in response to the exhibition. The selection will be displayed on the ground floor of the gallery.

Hardcore will be open for view until 5th August.
