Unvealing her SS25 collection, TO KALI, Max Zara highlights the need for destruction in stressful times. Goddess Kali is known as the goddess of death and rebirth, and invites to let go of everything that no longer serves us to create space for what mattars. MAX ZARA STERCK's TO KALI collection is a personal process, symbolizing the release of old structures and embrace new, sustainable ways of working and living.

TO KALI is a powerful collection, with playful cut-outs and fabrics softly wrapped around the body. An asymmetric denim cropped jacket is paired with straight denim trousers, with the same asymmetric finish. Skirts have cut-outs placed on the thigh and above the knee, combined with a bandeau top. The colour palette is minimal, with black, white and hints of red dominating the collection.

The collection was showcased in the atelier of the National Opera & Ballet. Max Zara uses dance as a recurring element in her work, as well as the starting point in her design process. "Wearing clothing is not just about how it looks in an editorial, photo, or runway," says Max Zara. "It’s about how it moves, how it feels on the body, and the emotional connection it creates when worn."
