MFW: VIVETTA SS24

In a journey to the orgins of a timeless pattern, the polka dot, first made popular by historial figure George Beau Brummell in the 19th century, Vivetta's SS24 collection reflects on the perfect roundness of dots. The shape is printed or embroidered in various sized. Used as contrasting details, as seen on a silk organdy dress covered in hand-sewn feathers. Removed from fabrics in cut-outs, in the holes of pierces denim sprinkled with Swarovski crystals.

While perserving the essence of this classic and explored as objects, Vivetta's signature prints evolve into three-dimensional fabric creations, resembling flowers.

The collection is also a tribute to the smock stitch, adding intricite details and reducing volume by gathering fabric – lending a hyper-feminine daywear feal to the otherwise masculine poplin shirts. Vivetta pushes the boundaries further by experimenting with the stitch, transforming it into a fabric for crepe de chine garments.
