Clothing with swan details, fairy like shapes, The Storyteller by AKNVAS is a spring/summer collection filled with statement embroidery and a bold colour palette. Founded in 2019 by Danish-born designer Christian Juul Nielsen, AKNVAS designs modern collections with a focus on drape, texture, flattering silhouettes and innovate knits, as shown in the offering for next season. Proud to focus on a conscious design process, the brand uses several recycled and sustainable materials in its collections.

Metallic has made a comeback this year with Beyoncé's tour having the chrome colour heavily present. Incorporated in AKNVAS's SS24 collection, it is set to continuing its popularity. Well-designed and innovative, oversized shirting is combined with short shorts, with all footwear provided in collaboration with Stuart Weitzman. Denim is also present in different forms, from jackets to bralets. Overall, the collection feels like a well-rounded – with dressed-up and more casual options – just like a storyteller would hope.
